We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure software compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a software house or tech company.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) for test automation
