We are seeking a creative and skilled Script Writer to join our team for the production of engaging and captivating YouTube video content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of content creation.
Responsibilities:
Content Development: Develop compelling, original, and high-quality scripts for videos across various genres, ensuring they align with the channel's theme and target audience.Collaborate with the content team, including video editors, to conceptualize and execute script ideas effectively.
Research and Fact-Checking: Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and credibility of content included in scripts.Fact-check information and ensure all content meets ethical and legal standards.
Audience Engagement and Retention: Craft scripts that maintain audience interest, encourage engagement, and enhance video retention rates.Implement storytelling techniques and hooks to captivate viewers from the beginning to the end of the videos.
Script Formatting and Guidelines:Ensure scripts are formatted for ease of use by on-screen presenters or voice-over artists, including clear instructions for tone, pacing, and emphasis.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor's
- 2 years experience
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, particularly for digital platforms such as YouTube.
- Understanding of YouTube content trends, audience preferences, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a creative team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication and verbal skills.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of video production and editing processes.
- Experience with YouTube analytics and content optimization.
- Familiarity with various YouTube content genres and their respective audience expectations.
