To oversee and manage the maintenance and utilities operations of the company, ensuring the optimal performance and safety of all facilities. The Head of Maintenance and Utilities will develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, manage utility consumption, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead a team of maintenance technicians to support the company’s operational efficiency and sustainability.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a strong plus).

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior maintenance role, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintenance Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all stores.
  • Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant facilities maintenance, including equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs to track performance and costs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and ensure high-quality work.

Utilities Management:

  • Monitor and manage utility consumption across all stores, implementing cost-saving measures to optimize efficiency.
  • Analyze utility usage data to identify trends and opportunities for further savings and sustainability initiatives.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all restaurants meet fire safety and health code standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage the team and collaborate with other departments.
