We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be able to support the organizations from the point of view of 2D and 3D mechanical design of the products for different projects. The engineer is required to have creative and innovative ability to tackle all the technical intricacies of mechanical design and always render the most effective solution for the project success.
Job Responsibilities
Design systems and components that meet client needs and requirements.
- Strong experience in product modeling and component modeling
- Produce 2D and 3D mechanical models
- To be able to produce mechanical designs, perform drafting and ensure proper geometric dimensioning and tolerance for the approval and manufactur ability of the design
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs
- Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
- Evaluate final product’s overall design review, dimensioning, tolerance and manufactur ability
- Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
- Prepare product reports and documentation
- To interpret P&ID (piping and instrument diagram), PFD (process flow diagram), isometrics, BOM (bill of materials), BOQ (Bill of quantities)
- To use effectively wind-chill and its interfacing with the design software package
- Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
Experience and Knowledge
- Proven 2 year of working experience in mechanical engineering preferably mechanical design.
- Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (SolidWorks, Catia V5 Inventor, Solid Edge or PTC Cero)
- Good to have an experience in using PTC Wind-chill with design software packages listed above
- Solid understanding of core concepts of mechanics and hydraulics
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing skills
- Professional English language
