Dispatcher – Taxi / Limo Services

As a Dispatcher at Empire, you will be responsible for managing incoming requests from our clients (taxi and limo companies) and coordinating their transportation needs. You’ll ensure that vehicles and drivers are dispatched efficiently and promptly, monitor shifts, and assist with booking and schedule adjustments to meet customer needs. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks at once, and can communicate effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer Incoming Calls & Manage Bookings: Handle incoming calls from customers and taxi/limo companies to manage booking requests and inquiries.
Dispatch Drivers: Assign trips to available drivers, ensuring timely and efficient routes for all bookings.
Manage Shifts: Monitor and manage driver shifts, ensuring all routes are covered and that any last-minute changes or cancellations are handled smoothly.
Track Vehicle Locations: Use GPS and other tracking systems to monitor vehicles on the road and make adjustments as necessary to avoid delays or missed pickups.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to both clients and drivers, addressing concerns, adjusting schedules, and providing real-time updates on bookings or delays.
Troubleshooting: Quickly address any issues that arise during trips, from vehicle breakdowns to route changes, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
Maintain Records: Keep detailed logs of dispatch activity, booking confirmations, and trip statuses in the system.
Support Operations: Assist with administrative tasks, including maintaining booking schedules, preparing daily reports, and supporting other operational needs.
