• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the transportation and security teams to ensure the smooth operation of transport and security services in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the scheduling and routing of hospital vehicles, including ambulances, and transport vans, to facilitate the timely and safe transportation of patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Monitor the performance of transport personnel, including drivers and attendants, to ensure adherence to safety regulations, driving protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hospital vehicles to ensure they are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with necessary safety features and supplies for patient transport.
  • Coordinate with the hospital's facilities management team to address maintenance, repair, and servicing needs of transport vehicles, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.
  • Oversee the deployment of security personnel to various locations within the hospital premises, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and sensitive areas, to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor security surveillance systems, alarms, and access control mechanisms to detect and respond to security threats, breaches, or incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular rounds of the hospital premises to identify potential security risks, hazards, or vulnerabilities and take appropriate corrective actions to mitigate them.
  • Provide training and guidance to security and transport staff on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service techniques to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments, including nursing, facilities management, and emergency services, to coordinate patient transport and security support for special events, emergencies, or high-risk situations.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to transport operations, security incidents, and personnel activities, ensuring documentation is complete, organized, and up-to-date.
  • Assist the Hospital Administrator in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines related to transportation, security, and emergency response to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff regarding transportation inquiries, security concerns, or assistance requests, providing prompt and courteous assistance as needed.
  • Uphold the values, mission, and reputation of the hospital by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all stakeholders.
