We are seeking an experienced Senior Magento 2 Frontend and Backend Developer / Laravel Developer to join our dynamic team at Focus IT Services Pvt Ltd. As a Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Magento 2-based e-commerce platform and Laravel-based applications. Your extensive expertise and leadership skills will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions to meet our business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and customization of responsive and visually appealing Magento 2 themes and templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop advanced custom Magento 2 modules and extensions using PHP and Magento's MVC architecture.
  • Customize and extend the functionality of existing Magento 2 modules to meet specific and complex business requirements.
  • Perform data migrations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks in Magento 2, ensuring seamless operations and performance optimization.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Integrate third-party extensions, APIs, and web services to enhance functionality and improve system interoperability.
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience across the platform.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and releases in Magento 2, and relevant technologies, implementing innovative solutions where appropriate.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, effectively communicating project status and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Utilize the AWS console for managing and configuring cloud resources, such as EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 storage, and other AWS services.
  • Work proficiently with Unix-based systems, including command-line tools and shell scripting, for server management and deployment processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven working experience in Magento 2 frontend and backend development, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  • Extensive experience in developing custom Magento 2 themes, templates, and modules, including advanced customization and complex business logic implementation.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Laravel framework, including the development of sophisticated applications, database design, and RESTful API integration.
  • Proficient in Git version control, deployment processes, and continuous integration tools.
  • Deep knowledge of performance optimization techniques, scalability principles, and security best practices.
  • Experience working with the AWS console, managing and configuring cloud resources.
  • Proficiency in working with Unix-based systems, including command-line tools and shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex projects with multiple dependencies and requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Timings:1pm to 9:45pm

Note: This is an onsite job.
