Tax Accountant

Graceware, a leading manufacturer of high-quality melamine ware dinner sets and plastic ware, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. If you have expertise in tax compliance, bookkeeping, and sales tax & income tax matters, we invite you to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including Sales Tax and Income Tax.
Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and tax filings.
Reconcile tax accounts and manage tax-related documentation.
Handle tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly.
Assist in general bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
Work closely with internal and external auditors for financial reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/ACCA/ICMA part-qualified preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s Sales Tax & Income Tax laws.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
