We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Officer/Purchasing Officer to join our team in Islamabad. Job Description:
This role is tailored for individuals with 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or procurement who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive and collaborative work environment. As a Junior Accounts Office/Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance and procurement functions.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Assistance:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ledgers.
- Support the processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Participate in reconciling financial discrepancies.
- Help prepare basic financial reports and statements.
Purchasing and Procurement Support:
- Assist in supplier/vendor research and evaluation.
- Participate in negotiations and contract management.
- Aid in the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and initiating reorders.
- Learn and adhere to procurement policies and guidelines.
Communication and Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to understand departmental needs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or procurement (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
