To be successful as an Accounts Officer you should have an analytical mind. In this role you’ll also be responsible for the following KRAs.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
- Expense booking & payments
- Daily bank position
- Sales Invoices & Return
- Journal vouchers
- Bank payment/receipt vouchers
- Month end adjusting entries
- Recording of accounting transactions
- Income tax and sales tax transactions
- Bank reconciliation statements
- Reviewing of trail balance
- Leases & recording of accruals of different heads
- Perform any other task assigned by HOD
Role Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in accounts
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience using an ERP purchasing system
- Ability to build good relationships with colleagues & vendors
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a broader team
- Display a positive “can do” attitude
