The Business Development/Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role in increasing the market reach of Hinz products. This individual will focus on establishing new business opportunities, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering relationships with existing clients. The role requires extensive travel to various cities, where the Officer will represent the company in trade shows, client meetings, and marketing campaigns. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with a knack for relationship-building and a deep understanding of the garment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including direct retail clients, wholesalers, and boutique shops.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Represent the company in different cities, meeting prospective clients, participating in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and local market events.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations tailored to potential clients to showcase our garment products and manufacturing capabilities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, providing regular updates on new products, order status, and any customer inquiries or issues.
  • Collect feedback from clients to understand product performance, address issues, and propose improvements to enhance client satisfaction.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring profitability for both the company and the customer.
  • Track and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management.

Brand Development & Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities that increase brand awareness and drive demand for our garment products.
  • Develop marketing materials (brochures, digital content, samples) to showcase the company’s product offerings effectively.
  • Utilize social media and other digital marketing channels to create buzz and attract new business.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure product quality aligns with customer expectations and market demand.
  • Provide insights to the product development team based on client feedback and market research to aid in creating products that resonate with target markets.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for order fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery to clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the garment/fashion industry.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various cities, representing the company at trade shows, meetings, and industry events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and social media marketing platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred: Knowledge of garment production processes, fabrics, and current fashion trends is a plus.
