Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
- Design mechanical systems and components (e.g., machinery, tools, HVAC systems, engines).
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Develop prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and performance of designs.
- Analyze and calculate the performance of mechanical systems under various conditions.
Analysis and Problem Solving:
- Apply engineering principles to solve mechanical problems related to performance, cost, and manufacturing.
- Conduct stress, thermal, fluid dynamics, and motion analysis using specialized software.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Manufacturing and Production Support:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs can be manufactured cost-effectively and efficiently.
- Assist in the selection of materials for projects based on cost, durability, and functionality.
- Oversee the production process, ensuring that design specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Testing and Evaluation:
- Plan and conduct tests on prototypes or existing products to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collect and analyze data from testing to improve designs.
- Identify any defects or inefficiencies in designs or systems and make recommendations for improvements.
Project Management:
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Document and report on the progress of projects and suggest improvements.
- Maintain communication with clients or stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
Maintenance and Support:
- Provide technical support for existing systems, equipment, or products.
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure optimal functioning of mechanical systems.
- Analyze the performance of existing mechanical systems and propose upgrades or repairs when necessary.
