The Sign Estimator position involves developing bottom-up estimates for sign projects. Estimates are established by developing detailed cost of materials, labor, sub-products, subcontracted services, and any other costs associated with the signs(design, site survey), their production, shipping, and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed estimates for sign projects.
- Calculate costs for materials, labor, sub-products, subcontracted services, production, shipping, and installation.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of welding operations.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
- Basic knowledge of LED wiring.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining.
- Basic knowledge of automotive-grade painting.
- Basic knowledge of vinyl graphics.
- Basic knowledge of crate building.
- Basic knowledge of signs installation.
- ability to learn estimation software
- ability to handle multiple project estimation and follow upscoordinate with co-workers
- ability to price other sign products, footings, awnings, canopies...construction estimator will be ideal
