Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering to oversee and manage construction and infrastructure projects from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a solid understanding of project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, initiate, and manage civil engineering projects in accordance with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Lead project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project status and quality control.
Prepare and present reports on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (BSc Civil Engineering).
3+ years of proven experience in civil engineering project management.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in managing infrastructure, commercial, or residential construction projects.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering tools.
Experience working with governmental or municipal bodies (optional).

Working Conditions:

Split between office environment and site visits.
May require extended hours or weekends depending on project demands.
