We are looking for a Performance Manager to drive productivity, efficiency, and employee development across our software development teams and the broader organization. This role is responsible for performance management frameworks, process optimization, and workforce development to align employees with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach to performance measurement, expertise in software development workflows, and experience implementing strategies to enhance productivity and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance & Productivity Management:

  • Develop and implement a company-wide performance management strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Define KPIs, OKRs, and performance benchmarks for engineering, product, operations, and other business functions.
  • Monitor team productivity, sprint velocity, and project completion rates to identify process improvements.
  • Use data-driven insights to enhance agile development processes, cross-functional collaboration, and efficiency.

Employee Development & Growth:

  • Design and execute training, coaching, and career development programs for employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with HR, department leads, and technical mentors to establish clear career progression paths.
  • Ensure regular performance reviews, 360-degree feedback, and employee development plans to drive continuous growth.

Process Optimization & Workflow Efficiency:

  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to improve workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Implement best practices in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies to streamline development and deployment cycles.
  • Identify bottlenecks in software development and project execution and propose solutions for improvement.

Workforce Planning & Retention:

  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure optimal resource allocation, team capacity planning, and succession planning.
  • Analyze employee performance trends to proactively address attrition risks and engagement issues.
  • Develop and implement recognition programs, incentive structures, and reward systems to retain top talent.

Performance Analytics & Reporting:

  • Leverage HR analytics, project management tools, and AI-driven insights to track and enhance team performance.
  • Provide data-driven reports and recommendations to leadership on employee and team performance trends.
  • Ensure alignment between company goals, individual performance, and business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, HR, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance management, workforce planning, or operational efficiency, preferably in a software development company.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and engineering workflows.
  • Experience implementing OKRs, KPIs, and performance tracking tools.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello), and data analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical coaching, workforce planning, or process improvement in a tech-driven environment.
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum Master, or HR Performance Management are a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
