We are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreman to oversee our container operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling, storage, and maintenance of containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of container handling personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Oversee container loading, unloading, and storage operations
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of containers and equipment
- Plan and coordinate container movements and storage
- Manage and report on container inventory and damages
- Train and develop team members to improve performance and safety
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in container operations or a related field
- Strong knowledge of container handling, storage, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
