Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provide insights to support the company's financial growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payroll.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns (e.g., GST, income tax).
Monitor budgets, forecast cash flow, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate recording of financial data.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Assist management in cost reduction strategies and financial planning.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA qualification preferred).
Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
