We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and financial records.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor reconciliations and invoicing.
Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and financial entries.
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Handle tax filings, compliance with local laws, and coordination with tax consultants.
Support internal and external audits with complete and accurate documentation.
Review and supervise journal entries, expense reports, and petty cash handling.
Evaluate existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and operational budgeting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/IAS) and local regulatory requirements.
Provide support to management with financial analysis and business insights.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
5–7 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ERP).
Strong command over MS Excel, financial modelling, and reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of Pakistani tax laws and financial regulations.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA Finalist, ICMA, CPA) is a plus.
