KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Follow the traffic signals/rules & regulations
- Drive the vehicle carefully on the designated routes (including field trips and field area) in accordance with the schedule assigned by the supervisor.
- Unauthorized persons are not allowed to board the vehicle
- While driving, make sure safety belts are properly fastened
- Follow the logistic manual and admin manual and keep records including vehicle logs, vehicle safety, fuel and maintenance.
- Daily check and properly clean the vehicle and notify the supervisor in case of vehicle maintenance issues
- Perform duties within the context of team objectives.
- Assist IR staff with timely schedule, route and direction information
- Maintain positive relationships with other IR employees
- Attend training/staff meetings if required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with Islamic values and principles as well as commitment to Islamic Relief Worldwide's vision, mission, and core values.
Essential: The person should have driving experience of work in the government and NGO sectors.
