KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Strong coordination with local stakeholders for smooth implementation of the project with gender inclusive approach.
- Capacity building of the community members through orientation and in house trainings.
- Resolve conflict among the target community through effective dialogues.
- Identification of beneficiaries for multiple project interventions i.e. MPCG, NFIs, WASH and Advocacy.
- Assist Project Officer in identification, multiple assessments of project activities.
- Assist Project Officer to identify the beneficiaries for assistive devices for families, having persons with disabilities.
- Assist Safeguarding Protection and Inclusion Officer to conduct orientation sessions at community level.
- Assist Psychosocial support officer in identifying and conducting individual/group based psychosocial support sessions.
- Assist project leads to identify the locations for establishment of women and child friendly spaces in the project areas.
- Assist project leads in field monitoring visits
- Ensure inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups in project interventions.
- Proper maintain record of project activities at community & office level both in soft & hard form with pictorial views.
- Organize advocacy based events at Tehsil and District level.
- Ensure strong coordination with the stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meeting with community groups and ensure community ownership in project activities.
- Provide data to maintain a regular database system of project monitoring and evaluation.
- Consult with the project lead(s) regarding appropriate adjustments in program design or implementation strategies.
- Assist and facilitate project staff at field level for smooth implementation of project activities.
- Develop case studies/success stories to reflect project impacts.
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly work plans.
- Ensure the timely submission of activities reports (weekly and monthly).

- In depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
- Abide by the IR zero tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanism so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.
- Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
- Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for show casing IR work
- Facilitate communities in adaptation of environment friendly & cost effective approaches to meet their current as well as future needs with specific attention to climate change.
- Focused efforts to be made for mainstreaming of marginalized groups i.e. Persons with disability and old age, minorities, Women & children etc. in consultation & implementation of project activities at ground.
- Strengthen mechanism to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention towards their core issues, give voice to suffering and the excluded, highlighting the protection needs of people.
- Participation and facilitation in implementation of IR seasonal programmes.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Social Sciences
Experience:
Minimum experience of similar role in NGO setup: 2 years with Master degree and/or 3 years with Bachelor degree
Computer Skills:
MS Office, Outlook, ERP systems familiarity
Language:
Urdu, English and Sindhi

- Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, and able to maintain self-control in difficult situations.
- Able to work under extreme conditions in field areas.
- Good communication skills in local as well as English / Urdu language which delivers information with clarity in a wide range of situations.
- Has a positive nature and able to overcome issues that create hindrance in achievement of entrusted goals / objectives.
- Has a learning attitude and a continuous improvement philosophy
