The following are the main responsibilities that the role holder will be accountable for:
• Keep close coordination with existing social structure and stakeholder’s project area for smooth execution of project activities.
• Having a good understanding of Islamic Relief system & its operation and its different sectors.
• Resolve conflict among the target community through effective dialogues.
• Community Mobilizer will be responsible for identification of vulnerable group particularly women i.e. Widows, divorced, separated and female headed house hold, Young Girls for the provision of Grants & other.
• Ensure inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups in project interventions.
• Proper record keeping of project activities at community & office level both in soft & hard form.
• Conduct regular meeting with community organizations and ensure community ownership in project activities.
• Participates in need assessments, Participatory Rural Appraisals, feasibility studies, stakeholder analyses and community consultations;
• Elaborate all needs based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the programme and the beneficiary involvement strategy.
• Mobilizes the community in the effective use of the community resources.
• Mobilize communities for the prioritizing of recovery activities and strategies.
• Maximize beneficiary contribution.
• Participate in distributions whenever required.
• The Community mobilizers should develop in-depth knowledge of all their villages of intervention and should have close contacts with community leaders, volunteers.
• Support and supervise project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the relevant skilled staff
• Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project in line with the programme strategy and intended output.
• Ensure on time completion of the tasks in line with guidance.
• Supervise the unloading of the material on site as well as quality and quantity of the items
• Ensure the timely submission of activities completion reports of the project.
• Perform any other task assigned by supervisor as and when required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• Graduation or Master Degree in Any discipline for Male Candidate.
• Organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to create, composes, edits the field record.
• Interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a multicultural community.
• Knowledge of Social Mobilization principles and procedures.
• Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
• Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
• Command on MS Office, use of internet and emails
Experience
• Minimum Fresh Maximum 01 years field experience in national/international organizations preferably in humanitarian project, Knowledge of sphere standards is desirable

Desirable:
• He or She must have experience of working for a Humanitarian Organization specifically in recovery and development phases.
