KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To build and maintain positive working relationships with local communities, organizations and team members. Management of service delivery, including quality assurance, accountability and sustainability.
- Supporting the strategic development of the sector, and representing the sector in relevant partnerships. (when/where require)
- To ensure that accurate records are maintained and to monitor the outcomes of social mobilization.
- To mobilize the target community for integrated intervention of the organization in Connection to WASH, to develop ToP for Village Organization (VO), Community Micro Projects (sub Committees for CMPs in VO), and water management committee, make agreements with respective committees and sub committees.
- To resolve all the social conflicts in the targeted communities by application of participatory approaches in an amicable way.
- Assist in the implementation of the organization community mobilization strategy in the manner that promotes gender equality, democratic decision-making and is all-Inclusive.
- In close supervision with the line supervisor implement the strategic community development plan, in particular, focusing on WASH, water management and social capital.
- Preparation of Village development plan (VDP) through using different PRA tools.
- Implementation of activity plans identified and agreed by the communities for projects according to the guidelines and schedules set by the organization Mobilization strategy.
- Assist in conducting feasibility assessments for potential CPIs, relevant to WASH, Livelihood, DRR identified by community through PRA.
- Liaise and coordinate with other organization project and support staff for Community project implementation.
- Provide technical assistance to and advise community groups on project Identification and implementation strategies.
- Liaise and work with community groups and projects to ensure accountability and Best use of project
- Contribute in devising social mobilization strategy as per business process/project documents.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. IR has a zero-tolerance policy towards PSEAH and don’t support any action that promotes or encourages PSEAH.

Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate preferably Master’s Degree holder in social science.
- Minimum 2 Years’ experience.
