Head Chef

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at a new restaurant.The ideal candidate will have a specialty in Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, and Lebanese cuisine, with a proven track record of creating unique and delicious dishes that will delight our customers.

Responsibilities:

Designing and completing the kitchen setup, including selecting equipment, utensils, and ingredients.
Developing menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, and Lebanese cuisine.
Collaborating with the management team to develop new menu items and promotions, as well as implementing changes to existing menus based on customer feedback and market trends.
Managing the kitchen team and ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
Ordering and managing inventory, as well as monitoring food costs to ensure profitability.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including overseeing the cleaning of equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
Ensuring compliance with international safety precautions and regulations for food preparation and handling.

International Safety Precautions:

The Head Chef will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen complies with international safety precautions and regulations for food preparation and handling.
This may include implementing measures such as frequent hand washing, wearing gloves and masks, and sanitizing surfaces and utensils regularly to prevent the spread of foodborne illnesses.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in a Head Chef role, with a specialty in Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, and Lebanese cuisine.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
In-depth knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles of the aforementioned cuisines.
Creative and innovative thinking, with a passion for experimenting with new dishes and flavors.
Proven ability to manage food costs and maintain profitability while delivering high-quality dishes.
