We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Officer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff and management, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

2. Network Administration: Maintain and administer computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet.

3. Computer Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, including installing software updates, patches, and new hardware.

4. IT Security: Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems, including implementing security protocols, monitoring for threats, and responding to incidents.

5. Data Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.

6. IT Projects: Assist with IT projects, including planning, implementation, and testing of new systems and technologies.

7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of our IT systems, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals.

8. User Training: Provide training and support to users on new systems and technologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT role, preferably in a network administration or technical support position.

3. Technical certifications: Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA.

4. Strong technical skills: Strong technical skills in areas such as network administration, computer hardware, software, and IT security.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

6. Strong communication skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
