Overview:

 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Branchless Banking Technical Specialist (Manager Branchless Banking technical) to lead our technical support team and drive excellence in branchless banking operations. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical expertise, guiding junior staff, and implementing strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of digital banking platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technical support staff, assisting them in diagnosing complex technical issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing effective solutions
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of branchless banking systems, including mobile banking applications, internet banking platforms and digital wallets, to ensure reliability and performance
  • Lead the response to critical incidents and service disruptions affecting branchless banking services, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to mitigate the impact
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring technical issues and service disruptions, identifying underlying causes and implementing preventive measures to enhance system stability and resilience
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency in support processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical requirements, prioritize enhancements, and ensure alignments with business objectives
  • Ensure branchless banking systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards including data security and privacy regulations, and implement measures to safeguard customer data and mitigate security risks.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Knowledge of digital banking platforms, mobile technologies and fin-tech trends
  • Preferably hands on experience with Auto-Soft Mobile Wallet
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, with a focus on digital banking or branchless banking
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as regulatory requirements
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
