- Develop and update credit-related policies and procedures in line with the prevailing best practices, business dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Develop Risk Appetite Statement and ensure renewal as per prescribed frequency.
- Review policies, procedures, product programs and SOPs developed by business functions from credit risk perspective.
- Assist arrangement of Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC) meetings in line with the approved TORs and completion of all related tasks
- Act as coordinator for Risk Management Group in relation to SBP inspection, internal and external audit, regulatory compliance etc.
- Provide clarifications on the queries raised by business and risk units on the credit-related internal policies/procedures.
Skills Required:
- Expert knowledge of Risk Management Guidelines and Prudential Regulations
- Expert knowledge of business and regulatory environment and understanding of risk issues / trends and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong SQL, BI and other data analysis tools
