1.      Develop and Implement CBDRM Strategies

               Design, plan, and implement community-based disaster risk management strategies tailored to local vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with national disaster risk reduction (DRR) policies and frameworks.

2.      Capacity Building and Training

               Conduct training programs and workshops to build the capacity of local communities, organizations, and stakeholders in disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and emergency response.

3.      Risk Assessment and Hazard Mapping

               Lead community-level risk assessments and hazard mapping exercises to identify vulnerabilities, hazards, and capacities, and develop actionable disaster mitigation plans.

4.      Facilitate Community-Based Early Warning Systems

               Establish and strengthen community-led early warning systems, ensuring effective communication and coordination with local authorities for timely disaster alerts and responses.

5.      Promote Disaster-Resilient Livelihoods

               Support communities in integrating disaster-resilient practices into local livelihoods, including climate-smart agriculture, natural resource management, and adaptive infrastructure solutions.

6.      Monitor and Evaluate CBDRM Programs

               Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the effectiveness of CBDRM interventions, ensuring continuous improvement and lessons learned are applied to future disaster risk management activities.

7.      Strengthen Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships

               Facilitate collaboration between communities, local governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to disaster risk reduction and resilience-building efforts.
