Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Direction:
Develop and implement a strategic product roadmap that aligns with the brand’s vision and goals.
Identify and explore new product categories and opportunities to expand the product line.
Lead the development of product line direction, ensuring each product fits within the overall brand aesthetics and market positioning.
Trend Research & Market Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities in the home decor industry.
Analyze competitor products and market strategies to stay ahead in the market.
Translate trend insights into actionable product ideas and strategies.
Product Line Development:
Collaborate with the design and procurement teams to develop new products that resonate with target customers.
Oversee product sourcing and ensure alignment with brand quality standards and aesthetics.
Work closely with suppliers on platforms like 1688 to negotiate terms and ensure timely product development.
Buyer Persona Development & Analysis:
Define and develop buyer personas based on data and research, understanding customer needs, behaviors, and preferences.
Use insights from buyer persona analysis to guide product development and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with key customer segments.
Product Performance & Optimization:
Monitor product performance and sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Implement strategies to maximize product profitability and customer satisfaction.
Manage product lifecycle, including planning for product launches, seasonal updates, and discontinuations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product strategies and successful product launches.
Communicate product vision and strategy across the organization to align team efforts.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in eCommerce product management, trend research, or related fields.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms like Shopify and 1688, with proven experience in product sourcing and management.
Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Experience in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is highly preferred.
Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
