1. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Joint Country Fundraising Manager contributes to both the Country Offices of Afghanistan and Pakistan leading in actively seeking new funding opportunities, concept note development and proposal development and writing. Additionally supporting the Country Director, Head of Programme’s, and other senior staff with donor engagement. Joint Country Fundraising Manager is also responsible for donor mapping and identifying key donors and opportunities, ensuring the organization and partners’ knowledge of and compliance with donor requirements and quality standards.
As required create and circulate the relevant timetable, and quality assurance reports from partners and for NCA to ensure timely submission in alignment with donor standards, for donors.
The holder will ensure they learn and develop a deep understanding of the context, programs, and opportunities within the organization sphere, within both countries. An intricate knowledge of both the Afghanistan and Pakistan context is required.
The role is a ‘split resource role’, between the Pakistan and Afghanistan offices, with a minimum of 25% of time expected to be spent physically in Afghanistan, and 50% of working time dedicated to Afghanistan. However, the contract for this position will be developed and guided by Pakistan labor law and Pakistan country office policies and procedures. Though while working in Afghanistan the specific practices and procedures of the Afghanistan Country office must be followed.
