This full-time position requires strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills. Responsibilities include managing the fundraising team, volunteers, organizing events, developing donors, and grant writing. The goal is to maximize donations through effective strategies. The ideal candidate has substantial fundraising and management experience, a talent for building relationships, and a proven track record in securing funds from local and international organizations.

Responsibilities:

Fundraising & Resource Mobilization:

· Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans aligned with organizational objectives to meet the assigned FR targets.

· Identify new income streams and devise strategies to access them.

· Create a diverse fundraising portfolio, including individuals, major gifts, corporates, events, and grants.

· Prepare marketing plans to secure local funds from individuals.

· Create annual fundraising plans and associated budgets.

· Identify major partnership fundraising opportunities.

· Monitor, analyze, and report on income and expenses.

· Address performance shortfalls and implement contingency plans.

· Ensure compliance in data management and storage.

· Lead and motivate the fundraising team to meet KPIs.

· Report fundraising performance to the Director and suggest improvements.

· Promote fundraising awareness within the organization.

· Ensure excellent donor experiences and appropriate acknowledgment.

Partnership Building & Donor Engagement:

· Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue from workplace accounts and donors.

· Build networks with donors and partner organizations for long-term funding.

· Review and submit reports to donors and corporate organizations.

· Follow up on fundraising activities and ensure proper closure with relevant reports.

· Develop communication strategies for project results and progress reports.

· Communicate with key donors to sustain long-term funding.

· Set and achieve realistic fundraising targets with stakeholders.

· Develop winning project proposals, concept notes, drafts as per the needs of FR

General Responsibilities:

· Lead various fundraising campaigns and maintain a donor database.

· Monitor donor websites and identify funding opportunities.

· Build contacts with potential donors and raise funds for the organization\\\\\\\'s activities.

· Maintain relationships with existing donors and update them on the organization\\\\\\\'s work.

· Develop communications material such as brochures, website content, and annual reports.

· Collaborate with project teams to understand funding implications and opportunities.

· Stay updated on donor trends and share knowledge within the organization.

· Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications:

Education:

· Masters Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Development, Social Sciences/ Development Studies or a relevant field preferred.

Professional Experience:

· 5+ years of fundraising/ resource mobilization experience

· Experience of securing major donations, grants, projects funds and winning proposals.

· Knowledge of the charity sector and experience managing a team.

· Excellent contacts with potential major donors and supporters.

· Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills and Competencies:

· Must meet monthly, quarterly and annual fundraising targets.

· Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

· Ability to plan and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.

· Ability to understand fundraising needs and generate budgets.

· Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
