Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, including crafting job descriptions, posting job ads, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts with relevant department heads.
- Work on workforce planning and employment processing, which may involve new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions for new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Address employee grievances and conduct investigations in response to employee complaints.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee performance review systems.
- Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.
Policy Formulation:
- Help in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
HR Administration:
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Ensure job classifications and HR records are accurate and up to date.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Analyze HR metrics to identify business challenges and use data-driven insights to create solutions.
- Prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Command of verbal & written English
