We are seeking a dedicated Vendor Manager / Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The resource will play a crucial role in managing relationships with our IT vendors, ensuring the highest quality of products and services for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Selection and Evaluation:

  • Identify and select IT vendors that meet the company's needs and standards.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential vendors to ensure quality and reliability.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiate contracts and terms with IT vendors to secure the best deals.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring they deliver products and services in line with contractual obligations.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise with vendors promptly and effectively.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and manage vendor performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon standards and timelines.
  • Provide regular performance reports and feedback to vendors.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT, finance, and procurement teams to understand and anticipate IT equipment, hardware, and software needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of vendor services.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends, products, and prices in the IT market.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to optimize vendor relationships.

Risk Management:

  • Assess and manage risks associated with IT vendors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in vendor management, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in vendor management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
