About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer with a strong background in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Lua, Python, and others. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems, a deep understanding of software development principles, and experience working on a variety of platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Software Solutions:

Design, code, and implement software applications using scripting languages like JavaScript, Lua, Python, etc.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
Scripting and Automation: Create scripts to automate processes, streamline development workflows, and enhance system performance.
Code Reviews and Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code adheres to industry best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the codebase.
Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues across various environments.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and software architecture to support ongoing development and maintenance.
Stay Updated with Technology Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to scripting languages and software development.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Scripting Languages: Strong experience in JavaScript, Lua, Python, or other relevant scripting languages.
Software Development Experience:
Minimum of 4-5 years of professional software development experience.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and find innovative solutions.
Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle: Experience with agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with remote and in-house teams.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with APIs: Experience in developing and integrating with RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Databases: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Open Source Contributions: Involvement in the open-source community is a plus.
