• Formulate Food Safety and Quality policies/Procedures and monitor the proper implementation of these policies
  • Ensure product safety, regulatory compliance and compliance with company standards as stated in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.
  • Implement and sustain safety, quality and product consistency. Audit and manage suppliers’ food safety and quality practices.  Ensure that all process-related documentation and programs are managed and maintained.
  • Manage and lead the Team of Quality Assurance Officers and HACCP Team. Provide guidance and monitor performance.
  • Visit all the KCFC production units and outlets periodically and ensure sustained implementation of Safety & Quality policies through SOPs.
  • Effectively communicates (Verbal and Written) quality matrices and inspection results to appropriate managers and leadership.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, supervision, and vision to support comprehensive quality and food safety programs and ensure continuity of business according to customer and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensures that proper cleaning procedures and documentation is completed.
  • Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses and internal audits.
  • Carry out monthly microbiological and environmental program including corrective actions and follow-up.
  • Supervise the appropriate chemical, bacteriological, sensory and utilization tests on raw materials.
  • Ensures all HACCP, Halal, GMP’s, sanitation and controls, supply chain preventive controls and all other prerequisite food safety standards are met.
  • Ensures complete traceability and maintenance of food chill chain. Initiate regular Mock Recalls according to policy and procedure.
  • Ensures labeling programs is accurate by allergens, ingredients and nutritional information.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Ensures periodic equipment calibration, internal verification of measuring tools, and monitoring pest control contractors.
  • Able to guide the maintenance team about food safety aspects.
