You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our company's tax affairs. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, minimizing tax liabilities, and supporting tax planning initiatives. You will work closely with the finance team and external advisors to provide accurate and timely tax reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax legislation changes.
- Support senior management in tax planning and strategy development.
- Coordinate with external advisors for tax-related matters.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
- Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities.
- Assist in preparing financial statements with a focus on tax implications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CTA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Experience with tax software and accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
