Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Electronics to design, develop, and optimize power electronic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in power conversion, circuit design, and energy efficiency solutions for various applications, including renewable energy, electric vehicles, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop power electronic systems, including DC-DC converters, inverters, rectifiers, and motor drives.
Perform circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout for power electronics applications.
Conduct thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability analysis to ensure system efficiency and safety.
Develop and test firmware for digital power control using microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGAs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics into larger systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize power circuits for improved performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, UL, IEEE, etc.) and safety regulations.
Conduct prototype development, testing, and validation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
years of experience in power electronics design and development.
Proficiency in power electronic simulation tools (PSIM, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS).
Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN transistors).
Experience with embedded programming for power control (C, C++, Python).
Knowledge of PCB design tools (Altium, Eagle, OrCAD) and circuit layout best practices.
Familiarity with renewable energy systems, battery management systems (BMS), and motor control is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
