We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Study Visa Counselor to join our dynamic team. As a Study Visa Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students through the study visa application process, providing advice on visa requirements, preparing application documentation, and ensuring that students are well-prepared for their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of international student visa regulations, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise students on suitable study programs, universities, and visa requirements for various countries.
- Assist students with preparing and submitting study visa applications in compliance with regulations.
- Provide guidance on the documents required for visa applications, including financial statements, offer letters, and personal statements.
- Stay updated on the latest changes in visa policies and regulations for different countries.
- Conduct mock interviews and assist students in preparing for visa interviews.
- Offer personalized consultations to students, answering their queries and resolving concerns about the visa process.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely processing of applications.
- Track visa application progress and follow up with students to ensure timely submission and approval.
- Provide students with information about living and studying abroad, including accommodation, scholarships, and lifestyle tips.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all counseling sessions and student interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Study Visa Counselor or in a similar role in the education consultancy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of visa regulations and application processes for multiple study destinations (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A degree in Education, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
