Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Project Bidder with 5 years of experience to join our team. As a Project Bidder, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities through the bidding process, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential project opportunities through various channels, including online platforms, RFPs, RFIs, and direct client interactions.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to develop targeted bidding strategies.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and quotations in response to client requirements and requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts, to develop compelling and competitive bids.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information, resources, and documentation for bid preparation.
  • Review bid documents and contracts to ensure alignment with company policies, objectives, and capabilities.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of bid activities, including client interactions, proposal submissions, and project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and best practices in bidding and procurement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project bidding, business development, or a related role, preferably in the [industry/sector] industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing projects and contracts through the bidding process.
  • Strong understanding of bidding procedures, contract management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
