Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Billing Assistance:

  • Verify and process medical billing claims and invoices.
  • Review, code, and categorize medical procedures for accurate billing.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billings and payments.
  • Maintain detailed and organized billing records.

2. Appointment Scheduling:

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments using our scheduling software.
  • Confirm appointments and send reminders to patients.
  • Handle rescheduling and cancellation requests.
  • Assist in managing the healthcare provider's calendar.

3. Data Entry and Documentation:

  • Accurately input patient and billing information into our electronic systems.
  • Maintain updated patient records and insurance information.
  • Prepare and send out invoices and statements to clients.

4. Communication and Support:

  • Collaborate with the medical billing team to ensure a seamless workflow.
  • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers professionally and courteously.

5. Administrative Tasks:

  • Email management, document filing, and report generation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance verification is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with medical billing software and office applications.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
