The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the designing of electrical substations 20 to 500 Kv. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, supervisors, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in the field of energy and high voltage technology or electrical power engineering.
2. Extensive experience with electrical systems design and in Planning 3 to 5 Years.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
4. Existing project experience in the European/North American region would be ideal
5. Knowledge of how to use the necessary calculation tools (e.g. SIMARIS + Digsilent)
- Short circuit behavior
- Load flow calculations
- Impedances
- Selectivity
- EMV
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical substations.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Research technical parameters at the extra high voltage level (e.g.380KV)
- Component Parameters (e.g. Weight/Size/Powerless)
- Budget determination (costs)
4. Planning according to our Processes
- Floor Plans
- Calculations
- Performance Balance
- Room requirements (e.g. For architecture/statics/HLSK)
- Single Line Diagram
- Developing technical systems concepts
Salary range: 125 to 150K
