• Manages, organizes, and coaches the overall ops and Airport Services team.
  • Prepares SLAs for all new service providers at station and enhance existing SLAs.
  • Reviews performance of contracted suppliers against established SLAs and KPIs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures.
  • Promotes safety and security awareness of all flydubai staff and other service providers involved in flydubai’s operation and meet the set SPIs & SPTs.
  • Addresses customer’s feedback and aims for the highest customer service standards at all touchpoints. Works to enhance customer experience.
  • Conduct regular competency checks and audits to service providers and present the outcome to management.
  • Participates in the investigation committee regarding safety and security incidents at the station. Drives the outcome and provides solutions. Encourages reporting culture among flydubai and handling teams.
  • Engages formally with the Airport Committee to secure the best outcome for the interest of flydubai operation.
  • Ensures all operational station expenses are handled cost-effectively and prepares/submits annual budget.
  • Review and approve invoices and charge notes from all the service suppliers at the station. Raise disputes to vendors in coordination with flydubai finance team where necessary.
  • Enforces the embargo policy during peak operations to ensure maximum utilization of manpower in accordance with business requirements.
  • Participate on interviews of ground staff recruitment in line with the Job description, specifications and requirements as stipulated in section 12 from the flydubai ground handling manual.
  • Owns the control of flydubai’s assets, systems access and credentials assigned to the station and reports any breach or failure to the Regional Manager and concerned teams at the flydubai HQ.
  • Reviews station manpower and asset requirements and proposes a business case to the Line Manager based on business and operational needs.
