General Position Summary
Senior Program Officer (SPO)-Parastatal will be responsible to work closely with Enhanced Case Finding (ECF) Coordinator for the implementation of the ECF activities in parastatal hospitals. S/he will be responsible for close coordination with respective Sub-Recipients to ensure timely on-boarding of these hospitals according to the guidelines. S/he will ensure timely collection and consolidation of the progress reports from the onboard parastatal hospitals. SPO Parastatal will be responsible for high quality review of SR’s monitoring reports of the parastatal hospital.
S/he will assist ECF Coordinator in developing action plans of the SRs and following up with them for their implementation. S/he will support the ECF Coordinator to strengthen the capacity of the program team and of SRs to implement ECF in the parastatal hospitals as per the operational and technical guidelines. S/he will work closely with assigned SRs to identify challenges in implementation through monthly progress review meetings with SRs, and address them in coordination with ECF Coordinator. S/he will provide any operational and logistics support to SRs, as and when required. SPO will also conduct periodic field visits to understand the key implementation challenges and support ECF Coordinator in devising/updating strategies accordingly.

Knowledge and Experience:
Master’s degree in relevant field preferably in medical-related education/public health/project Management. [with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in the development sector preferably in Global Grant. Excellent data analysis, writing and coordination skills required. Working with statistical tools will be an added advantage. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Experience in donor reporting is required.
