PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Project aims to enhance immunization activities in high-risk union councils of selected districts through community engagement and strengthened service delivery, including primary healthcare and the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI). The project focuses on deploying mobile health units, identifying zero-dose and defaulter children to improve vaccine coverage and reduce vaccine-preventable diseases in areas with low immunization rates. Collaborating with key stakeholders such as the EPI Program, health departments, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and local communities, the initiative emphasizes raising awareness, ensuring equitable vaccine delivery, and addressing immunization gaps to achieve sustainable health outcomes.

POSITION OVERVIEW

HR Officer reports to Sr. HR Manager. He will be responsible for smooth conduct of all HR Operations that include preparing payroll, attendance monitoring, talent sourcing, employee relations, system updates etc. He/she will ensure that excellent service standards and service satisfaction are maintained all the time for employees and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

DESCRIPTION

Recruitment and Selection

  • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job description, initiate VAF, managing the hiring process i.e. interviews, test, job offer, reference checks and orientation of new joiners.
  •  Prepare supporting documents for VAF, Offer Letter, Contracts and send HR-HO-Islamabad for approval.
  • Participate in the interview panel.
  •  Up to date HR Status, ensure all positions are filled on time and share the status with HR-HO-Islamabad on regular basis
  •  Draft offer letter, contract, and other HR correspondence and send HR-HO-Islamabad for approval.
  • Responsible and ensure all employees are registered with biometric attendance and putting their biometric attendance.

Employee Files and Database

  • Distribute offer letter, contract and other HR correspondence to field staff; arrange their signing by staff, and ensure these are filed in relevant personnel files.
  • Maintain and up to date Employees personnel file in Hard and as well as in the soft form
  • Ensure Job description signed from all staff and placed in relevant employee’s personnel files.
  •  Maintain and update data base and share with HR-HO-Islamabad on regular basis.
  •   Process Leaves application of employees, keep up date the record and share with HR-HO-Islamabad on regular basis

Training and Development

  •  Make sure that all the employees have read their Job description.
  • Make sure that all the employees know about the rules and regulations
  •  Train employees as per employee job description, requirement and organizational needs

Employee engagement, Relation Conflict Management

  • Assist in resolving workplace contracts and foster a positive work environment.
  •  Handle and support Health Manager in conflicts, disciplinary, employee grievances issues and where necessary consult HR-HO-Islamabad for support.
  •  Investigate and prepare the case for send it to head office  for further process.

Compensation and Benefits  Management

  • Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees
  • Respond employees queries related to HR, payroll, Final settlements and Leaves.
  • Communicate timely addition/ deletion for health/ life insurance to HR-HO-Islamabad on regular basis.
  • Ensure timely process of clearance and initiate the final settlements of leaver’s after clearance issue experience certificates by signing the document from HR-HO-Islamabad

Performance Management

  • Make sure that all the employees complete performance appraisal process on time
  • Supporting performance review process advising on employee performance problems, and identifying development needs
  • Assist Sr. Manager HR in performance appraisals
