Job Costing:
- Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage job costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
- Prepare detailed job cost reports and analyze variances to ensure accurate project cost accounting.
- Monitor and control project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory tracking and management within QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Implement inventory control procedures and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Manage procurement and inventory records, including supplier invoices and purchase orders.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making processes.
Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card transactions, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial records.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for audits and tax filings.
System Maintenance:
- Maintain and update QuickBooks systems, including software updates and data backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve QuickBooks related issues to ensure smooth financial operations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Provide support and training to staff on QuickBooks functionalities as needed.
