- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced reconciliation and reporting specialist with a strong background in transactional and GL based reconciliation and reporting. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the field and be proficient in Power BI, SQL, ETL, Power Query, Python, and Excel. As a Reconciliation Specialist, the candidate will play a key role in daily maintenance and ensuring accuracy in settlement reports/dashboard.
- 1. Perform transactional/account-based reconciliation activities with precision and accuracy, ensuring that all financial data is correctly recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. 2. Create and maintain interactive and insightful dashboards using Power BI, presenting data in a user-friendly manner for various stakeholders. 3. Utilize advanced Excel functionalities to perform data analysis, create complex spreadsheets, and support financial modeling efforts. 4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data and reporting needs, and provide insights and solutions to support decision-making. 5. Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial data and reporting. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to address any data-related issues or discrepancies 6. Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, providing them with timely and accurate information while addressing their concerns and inquiries. 7. Proactively identify and resolve disputes related to financial data and vendor transactions. Work with both internal teams and vendors to reach satisfactory resolutions. 8. Conduct data quality checks and develop validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data. 9. Undertake any other tasks or special projects as assigned by the line manager. This may include ad hoc data analysis, process improvement initiatives, or additional reporting requirements. 10. Handling of large data volumes in Business Intelligence tools. 11. Ensure timely follow up with relevant teams. 12. Ensure to comply company s digitalization vision by automation of reports and operational tasks wherever it could be. 13. Ensure compliance with Bank s policies and procedures as well as SBP s prudential regulations for smooth conduct of Operations efficiently and consistently. 14. Support audits by providing accurate and timely documentation and explanations of financial activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Reconciliation and high-level Reporting. Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
