Additionally, it involves leading technical staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting disaster recovery drills, and managing IT budgets, audits, and reporting.
    • Develop, execute, and manage computing and information technology strategies of the company.
    • Suggest and implement IT policies, Procedures, SOPs which contributes to maintain systems stability, efficiency, delivery and data security.
    • Effectively manage risk and to adopt enterprise wide solutions for risk management and corporate governance control.
    • Drive intrinsic value across the enterprise by implementing strategic initiatives through sound business acumen and by capturing the maximum return on technology investments.
    • Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations.
    • Analyze and improve upon technology standards across the organization to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.
    • Creatively and independently provide resolution to technical problems in a cost-effective manner.
    • Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all technical staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
    • Ensure continuous delivery of technical services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of systems, programs, and equipment performance.
    • Ensure equipment and software operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.
    • Develop a sound Disaster recovery solution for the Organization
    • Management and liaison with vendors.
    • Responsible for overall IT Infrastructure, Quality Assurance and Service Delivery of the Bank that includes Networks Administration, Servers Administration, Datacentre management, Access Management, Database Administration.
    • Ensure that both primary and disaster recovery sites of the bank should run smoothly with uninterrupted services and to ensure that all services are running fine at Data Centers.
    • Ensure to conduct Disaster Recovery Drills on frequent basis to ensure that the documented procedures do not have any gaps.
    • Ensure proper technology budgeting (Capex and Opex) and its monitoring and reporting to the management.
    • Ensure to manage effective internal, external and regulatory audits along with the proper closure of reports.
    • Job Requirement
    • Hold a Bachelor s degree from a well reputed institution.
    • Have 5 years of overall IT and at least 2 years of IT banking experience and would preferably have held the senior IT position at the Bank.
    • Have a solid understanding and grasp over mobile telephony.
    • Essential Skills:
    • Microfinance bank experience is an advantage.
    • Technically proficient with all current and potential concepts of the IT industry.
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Exposure to business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations.
    • Excellent understanding of project management principles.
