What is Manager NOC - MMBL?

What Manager NOC - MMBL does?

Direct and mentor NOC engineers to ensure continuous 24 7 monitoring of network performance, effective triage of Level 0/1 incidents, and efficient management of major incident workflows to minimize Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
Oversee configuration control, approve change-management processes, and forecast capacity needs to ensure the network scales cost-effectively with the bank s growth.
Coordinate maintenance windows, service restorations, and data-center operations to ensure infrastructure projects are delivered right first time, on time.
Serve as the primary escalation point for out-of-hours critical incidents, mobilizing technical and vendor resources for rapid resolution and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Manage the NOC budget and vendor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), evaluating third-party performance and negotiating contracts to optimize cost and support quality.
Implement and enforce network security standards, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, while coordinating audits to ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Develop the NOC strategic roadmap aligned with banking IT objectives, such as digital channel expansion and cloud migration, and drive continuous improvement through metrics analysis, including availability and MTTR.
Liaise with IT applications, cybersecurity, and business continuity teams to integrate NOC processes into broader IT operations and incident management frameworks, enhancing operational synergy.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager NOC - MMBL?

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years in network operations or infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within banking or similarly regulated environments
Proven experience managing a 24 7 NOC team, incident management, and major outage recovery
Hands-on expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
Strong vendor management and budgeting experience, including SLA negotiation and cost control
