You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems within elevator units. Your expertise will ensure that our elevators operate safely and efficiently, meeting all relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in elevators, including control panels, wiring, motors, and safety systems.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of elevator systems.
Installation: Assist with the installation of new elevator systems or upgrades to existing systems.
Compliance: Ensure all repairs and installations comply with local, state, and federal safety standards and regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on repair status and recommend necessary actions.
Emergency Response: Provide on-call support for emergency repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on elevator systems.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in elevator maintenance and repair (e.g., Licensed Elevator Mechanic or equivalent) preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and safety mechanisms specific to elevators. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
