Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify solutions for software and hardware issues, tracking them to resolution within agreed time limits.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to users, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Assist in establishing a robust networking environment by installing, configuring, testing, and documenting network systems according to design specifications.
  • Support day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability with minimal interruptions.
  • Provide technical support by responding to work orders and tickets from users, analyzing and resolving reported network problems.
  • Assist in producing documentation for installations, network topology, and troubleshooting communications hardware or software.
  • Quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products using available documentation and internet resources.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of computer networks, including DNS and DHCP.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on problem resolution.
  • Proficient in installing and configuring Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and email client applications.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, Windows Servers, and Active Directory in a domain environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a system support or network support role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
