The General Manager (GM) Factory is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of organizational policies, procedures, and systems. This role ensures the company’s operations align with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The GM fosters efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Development and Management:

  • Design, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to identify gaps and develop tailored policies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulatory standards.

2. Systems Development and Optimization:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of organizational systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, or other business management tools).
  • Identify and address inefficiencies in existing systems.
  • Work with IT and operations teams to enhance system functionality and user experience.

3. Strategic Planning:

  • Participate in the development of long-term strategies and objectives.
  • Align policies and systems to support strategic goals and business growth.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to internal and external audit standards.
  • Monitor risks associated with systems and policies, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for compliance-related issues.

5. Training and Communication:

  • Lead the communication of policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide training sessions to ensure employees understand and adhere to established guidelines.

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs for policies and systems effectiveness.
  • Regularly review and analyze data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Report on the status of compliance, system efficiency, and policy updates.

7. Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure seamless implementation of initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor teams responsible for policy and system functions.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management, and operational efficiency principles.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Efficiency and compliance of implemented policies.
  • System uptime, performance, and adoption rates.
  • Reduction in operational risks and regulatory breaches.
  • Employee training completion and satisfaction rates.
